An older article "Can Evolutionary Computation Help us to Crib the Voynich Manuscript ?" is now available at the scientifc paper repository arXiv. Departing from the postulate that Voynich Manuscript is not a hoax but rather encodes authentic contents, our article presents an evolutionary algorithm which aims to find the most optimal mapping between voynichian glyphs and candidate phonemic values. Lists of feminine names stemming from different languages are used as a crib and VM section known as "Zodiac", resp. "Calendar" is used as ciphertext. Interesting results are obtained especially when lists of slavic feminine names (including diminutives) resp. hebrew feminine names (with order of characters reversed) are used as the crib.
